The Assistant Director of Football Creative Video serves as a key storyteller for the MSU Spartans football program. Working closely with the Director of Digital and Brand Strategy and the Director of Creative Video, you will produce compelling video content that informs and engages football recruits, student-athletes, alumni, and supporters.
This role is driven by a passion for college football and a strong instinct for storytelling. You will be the creative force behind high-volume, eye-catching content for the @MSU_Football social media channels, particularly on Instagram and X. Your day-to-day involves brainstorming original concepts, filming on-location shoots at games and practices, and editing feature stories that elevate the program's creative standards.
Beyond production, you will collaborate with the creative and recruiting teams to ensure all content aligns with the organization's brand vision. You will also play a mentorship role, providing guidance to interns during office hours, practices, and games, while managing the organization and preservation of digital assets and production equipment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in media production, communications, cinema & TV or related field.
One year of working experience in a Division I football program or professional sports organization. Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and ability to build motion graphics. Working knowledge of Blender (or similar program) and ability to build 3D assets. Strong communication and organization skills.
