We are seeking an innovative, student-oriented, and service-driven leader to serve as the Assistant Dean of the Heavin School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Education. This role exists to challenge traditional models and mindsets in the service of today's adult learners. You will be energized by the power of education to improve lives and committed to the success of all students.
Under the direction of the Dean, you will assist in the general administration of all academic aspects of assigned programs. Your day-to-day will involve building academic communities, engaging students, and addressing the educational needs of diverse and complex constituencies. You will collaborate with external organizations to develop partnerships, support grant writing, and ensure programs meet professional standards. This is a fast-paced environment where you will work at a distance with students, mentors, and professionals, utilizing technology to synthesize information and drive student success.
