The Assistant Community Manager serves as a vital support to the Community Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of properties in Silver Spring and Gaithersburg, MD. This position is dedicated to maintaining community compliance with all policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards while overseeing teams across two locations.
You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of affordable housing operations, focusing on the recertification process, waiting list maintenance, and fostering positive relationships with prospective and current tenants. The role involves coordinating on-site data collection, scheduling resident interviews and inspections, and ensuring accurate calculations of income, assets, and rent levels. Additionally, you will assist in resolving complaints, maintaining resident files in accordance with regulatory agency policies, and supporting financial procedures such as rent collection and lease execution.
