About the Role
This position is for the 2026-27 school year and is responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and coaching instruction at a large public high school. The role may include supervising teams at varsity and junior varsity levels. You will work directly with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills, providing guidance and encouragement to help them profit from their participation.
As a key member of the athletic department, you will promote a favorable image of the school district and encourage community partnerships that enhance district programs. You will collaborate with the athletic director to evaluate program needs, ensure the proper use and care of school property, and communicate effectively with the team, staff, parents, administration, community, and the media.
