As an Assistant Chill/Freeze PIC, you will be the backbone of our perishable department, ensuring our customers always have access to fresh, high-quality products. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our cold chain, from the back stock to the sales floor. You will manage the rotation and monitoring of perishable items, ensuring nothing is sold past its expiration date, while adhering to company markdown guidelines.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of stocking, merchandising, and team leadership. You will stock and straighten merchandise, clear aisles, and manage the flow of freight by loading and unloading trucks. A key part of your responsibility is supervising team members within the department and stepping in as the PIC when needed. Beyond the floor, you will engage directly with our community by providing prompt customer service, helping shoppers load large items, and retrieving carts to keep our parking lots safe and tidy.
