About the Role

The Assistant Building Engineer serves as a vital support to the Building Engineer and maintenance staff, ensuring the continuous operation and safety of all residential building systems. This role is designed for an individual who thrives in a challenging and rewarding environment with opportunities to learn and grow. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.

Your day-to-day involves collaborating with the Building Engineer and Property Manager to prioritize service calls, coordinate contractor work, and manage work orders. You will play a key role in executing preventative maintenance programs and responding to resident requests and recurring complaints. Success in this position requires a strong customer service approach, as you will interact daily with owners, residents, contractors, and LWMC management, including the Board of Directors upon request.
