About the Role
The University of Kentucky is seeking a faculty member to provide General Pediatric services at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Kentucky Children's Hospital, and the Department of Pediatrics. This position is responsible for delivering clinical services within the clinics while simultaneously providing teaching services for resident training.
Beyond clinical and educational duties, the faculty member will collaborate on care reports and actively participate in professional development activities, including regional, state, and national meetings.
About the Facility
Kentucky Children's Hospital serves as a regional hub for pediatric care, housing Eastern and Central Kentucky's only Level I pediatric trauma center. The facility also features a Level IV newborn (neonatal) intensive care unit and a pediatric intensive care unit. Additionally, the hospital supports more than 30 advanced sub-specialty programs, including pediatric oncology and pediatric surgery.
