About the Role
The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky is seeking an Attending Physician with an open rank to join the Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition. This position is dedicated to advancing clinical gastroenterology programs and supporting the educational mission of the College of Medicine.
As a key member of the team, you will serve as an Attending and/or Consulting Physician at UK HealthCare Hospitals and the Veterans Administration Hospital for a minimum of three months per year. Your clinical responsibilities will encompass general gastroenterology services within UK HealthCare outpatient clinics and potential outreach locations.
Beyond patient care, this role is integral to the department's educational goals. You will provide teaching and supervision to residents and medical students across all clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and clinical research environments. You are expected to actively participate in postgraduate education and Continuing Medical Education (CME) efforts.
