About the Role
We are seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to aid the Disney Store Cast in supporting a safe and secure environment for Cast Members and Guests. This role is pivotal in maintaining the magic of the guest experience by ensuring a risk-adverse culture where safety is paramount. You will act as a visible deterrent to potential risks, utilizing niche training in Retail Counterterrorism and Workplace Security Programs to identify and resolve suspicious activity or unsafe behaviors before they impact our community.
Reporting to the Asset Protection Assistant Manager with daily oversight by Store Leadership, you will serve as the security and safety point of contact for the Citadel Disney Store in Commerce, CA. This position requires you to be the liaison between our internal operations and external partners, including Law Enforcement, ensuring seamless integration of third-party security teams and maintaining the highest standards of Disney values and behaviors.

Requirements
- verified4-5 years of Asset Protection/Loss Prevention/Security/Guest Service experience
- verifiedValid Security Guard license issued within State of employment
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
Nice to Have
Detailed understanding of Asset Protection and Security procedures, regulations, and practices. Understanding of Safety practices and procedures. Experience utilizing physical security technology including retail CCTV systems, Access Control, 2-way communication devices, and EAS systems. Experience analyzing Exception Based Reporting and POS data. Proficiency in incident management and case reporting. Experience using Microsoft Office suite. First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Degree within Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or similar related fields.
