About the Opportunity
Flex-Staff is seeking an Assembly Line Lead for a client in Plover, WI. This is a Temp-to-Hire position designed for candidates with leadership or management experience who are looking to establish a foothold with a company that offers advancement opportunities.
The Role
As the Assembly Lead, you will serve as the bridge between management and the production floor. Your primary focus will be leading and training employees on assembly tasks while coaching assemblers to ensure quality and efficiency. You will apply knowledge of department policies and procedures while utilizing a general understanding of other departments' functions to support daily operations.
In this fast-paced environment, you will also provide essential clerical support by recording, entering, and verifying data from various sources. Responsibilities include maintaining department files, compiling standard reports, and assisting with production planning and special projects. You will be expected to operate mobile equipment, including pallet jacks and shrink wrap machines, and ensure that all safety procedures are strictly followed.
Schedule and Compensation
This position is based on the 1st shift, running from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime is possible, extending the weekday hours to 4:00 PM and including Saturday shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM as needed. The hourly rate is $18–$19, with time and a half paid for overtime hours worked.
