This position is dedicated to the precise assembly, scanning, and adjustment of small to medium-sized parts. The role involves fitting interrelated components, repairing sub-assemblies and major assemblies according to process sheets, and managing the teardown, cleaning, and reassembly of refurbished units. Success in this role requires a strong focus on maintaining quality and quantity standards while operating specialized equipment such as presses, magnetizing systems, and scanners.
The position is located in a climate-controlled plant with air conditioning. However, the environment may involve exposure to industrial oils, toner, coolants, solvents, lubricants, and adhesives; strict safety precautions are enforced. Employees may encounter areas with excessive noise, for which ear protection is provided, and certain tasks may be dirty, with smocks or work outfits supplied. The role requires the ability to perform repetitive work and may involve intermittent or long periods of sitting and standing, with periodic lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
