Powell is an engineered-to-order manufacturer of switchgear and electrical equipment dedicated to the power generation industry. Our team operates in a safety-sensitive, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment where precision and adherence to engineering standards are paramount to our success.
The Assembler is a vital link in our production process, responsible for bringing complex electrical units, switchgear, and breaker components to life. You will work directly from blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications to assemble high-quality products. This role goes beyond simple assembly; it requires a keen eye for detail to perform in-process inspections, identify potential risks to product quality, and ensure every unit meets strict specifications.
You will be part of a collaborative team, reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor of the Assembly department. Your day will involve utilizing various hand and power tools, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and promoting a strong safety culture through active participation in safety meetings. We value individuals who are self-starters, eager to learn, and committed to finding more efficient ways to achieve results.
