About the Role
As an Armed Driver Guard, you will work with your team to ensure the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables. You will drive automatic armored vehicles on designated routes, service ATMs and Smart Safes, and handle customer stops including delivering change orders and picking up deposits. The role involves loading and unloading vehicle cargo, counting items, and recording cargo details.
While the work can be challenging, thousands of employees have stayed with us for decades. Approximately 90-95% of the work is performed in an air-conditioned vehicle within individual compartments. Loomis will pay for security and firearms qualifications, licensing, and permitting.
Hiring Process
As part of the qualification process, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation tests your ability to perform essential duties, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, repetitive coupling, and climbing.
