We are seeking an Archaeology Technician (Archaeology Technician II) to join our California Cultural Resources team in Los Angeles. This is a part-time, on-call position where workdays and times are determined on an as-needed project basis.
The Archaeological Technician primarily performs fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director, and/or Principal Investigator. Ideally, candidates should be based in Southern California, as field projects will primarily occur in the greater Los Angeles area. Flexibility to travel overnight for field work sessions is required.

Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field. 3+ years of experience with a wide range of field methodologies, including archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring. Completion of an archaeological field school. Experience with Geospatial technology including GPS and GIS. Computer proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
