About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a Fortune 500 client's project based in Tallahassee, FL. This is a long-term, onsite position where you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor for the team.
In this role, you will work closely with Scrum masters, architects, QA, and Dev/Ops teams to manage information exchange and drive agile development. You will be responsible for building comprehensive data-driven solutions that ensure best-in-class customer experiences by meeting end-to-end data integration requirements and response time SLAs.
Your day-to-day will involve designing data pipelines using cloud-based and on-premise technologies, translating BI requirements into database and reporting designs, and developing scripts for Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT/ETL) processes. You will also provide production support for data warehouse issues, coordinate root cause analysis for incidents, and manage change management processes to ensure smooth deployments.
