About the Role
This position serves as a senior-level architect for applications and databases, bridging the gap between complex technical specifications and tangible business solutions. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of development, from system analysis and design to implementation and production support. The role requires a deep understanding of client business functions and Vanguard's technology landscape, ensuring that third-party integrations and internal enhancements align with organizational goals.
Beyond coding, you will act as a catalyst for operational efficiency. By proactively identifying opportunities for process optimization and preventative engineering, you will help stabilize systems and drive automation. A key part of your day involves mentoring staff, resolving elevated technical issues, and communicating complex systems considerations to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will ensure that all deliverables not only meet rigorous development standards but also comply with Information Technology and Security policies.
