In collaboration with attending physicians, this position serves as a vital member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to the inpatient management of pediatric patients specializing in Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and Nephrology. The role is designed for a practitioner who demonstrates high-level critical thinking and clinical judgment to deliver comprehensive care across the developmental spectrum of children.
As a key provider, you will lead medical rounds, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop detailed plans of care that guide the team toward optimal patient outcomes. Your day-to-day involves ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing and monitoring medications, and performing procedures within your scope of practice. You will also serve as a preceptor for Advanced Practice Provider (APP) students, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
This position requires flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring continuous, high-quality care for our pediatric population.
