About the School District
The South Amboy School District is seeking dedicated educators for the 2026-2027 school year. This opening is for a Middle and High School Anticipated World Language Teacher, with a preference for candidates specializing in Spanish, French, Italian, or Portuguese.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate teacher to join our faculty and support students in mastering world languages. The successful candidate will bring a valid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard Certificate to the role. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment within the South Amboy Middle/High School.

Compensation & Benefits
The rate of pay for this position is determined by the negotiated agreement between the South Amboy Board of Education and the South Amboy Education Association, with a starting salary of $67,581 annually. The successful candidate will be eligible for the district's benefits package. Employees become eligible for single benefits immediately and qualify for other benefit packages after successfully completing three years and one day within the district.
