About the Role
We are seeking Animal Care Technicians to join our dedicated operations team at our Cambridge City, IN site. This role is for those who have an interest in science, a love for animals, and value being a good team member. You will enjoy hands-on work, continuous learning, and a career with a purpose.
You will begin your journey as an Animal Care Technician 1 in our dedicated training program, learning Taconic processes and the basics of animal husbandry. Through the completion of training, you will progress through your career into Animal Care Technician 2, Animal Care Technician 3, and up to a Senior Specialist level. Your growth is based on the skills and behaviors you obtain and apply to your everyday work, supported by regular check-ins with your manager.
The Schedule
Shifts start as early as 5:00 AM, running Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday. Training is conducted Monday through Friday for the first 13 weeks. Overtime is available to meet business needs. If you have time constraints, please let us know so we can explore if we can accommodate your scheduling needs.
