We are seeking Animal Care Technicians to join our dedicated operations team at our Cambridge City, IN site. This role is designed for individuals with an interest in science, a love for animals, and a desire for a career with purpose. You will begin your journey in our dedicated training program, learning Taconic processes and the fundamentals of animal husbandry. From there, you will progress through your career into Technician 2, Technician 3, and up to a Senior Specialist level. Your growth is driven by the skills and behaviors you apply to your everyday work, supported by regular check-ins with your manager.
In this hands-on role, you will work within barrier or isolator environments, ensuring the highest standards of animal health and quality control. You will learn to read SOPs, document work, order supplies, and maintain health statuses. The position requires flexibility to adapt to unexpected tasks and a commitment to being a positive team member. We value those who enjoy problem-solving, asking questions, and continuously learning.
