The Oligonucleotide Scientist plays a pivotal role in developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods for oligonucleotide APIs, drug substances, and drug products. This position is designed to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and compliance within GxP environments while providing technical leadership for routine testing and investigations.
In this role, you will focus primarily on HPLC/UHPLC and mass spectrometry techniques (LC-MS, LC-MS/MS) to assess identity, purity, impurity profiling, quantitation, and stability. You will author methods, protocols, and reports, troubleshoot instrumentation, and manage projects with clients. A key component of the day-to-day responsibilities involves mentoring junior staff and fostering a collaborative environment where accuracy and adaptability are paramount.
Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. The position is full-time, first shift (Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm), with approximately 25% travel required. This role is not remote.
