This position serves as a vital component of our quality control laboratory within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The Analytical Chemist is responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant release of products by conducting rigorous analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, final products, and critical utilities. Beyond routine testing, the role plays a key part in method validation and transfer, maintaining strict documentation standards under GMP, and driving continuous improvement initiatives like LEAN and 5S to foster an efficient and safe laboratory culture.
This is a fully onsite contract role based in La Verne, CA. The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, the role requires flexibility to accommodate urgent business needs, including being on-call for weekends and supporting off-shift testing during early mornings or non-standard hours. The laboratory is equipped with advanced technologies including HPLC, GC, UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and size exclusion chromatography, operating within a culture that emphasizes GMP/GLP compliance and organized workspaces.

Experience with biologics products; small and/or large molecule experience. Master's degree in Chemistry or an equivalent scientific discipline. Familiarity with biologics analytical methods for both small and large molecules. Experience supporting LEAN and 5S initiatives in a laboratory setting.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent scientific discipline; Master's degree in Chemistry (alternative to Bachelor's with less experience).
