The Cybersecurity Operations Analyst is a vital member of the IT Security & Compliance team, dedicated to safeguarding the organization's hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments. This role exists to ensure the timely detection, analysis, and response to security threats, while actively supporting the continuous improvement of Security Operations Center (SOC) processes.
In this position, you will work closely with IT, Cloud, and Security teams to maintain a robust security posture. Your day-to-day involves monitoring and triaging security alerts from SIEM, EDR, NDR, and cloud-native platforms. You will perform independent event validation, execute incident response actions, and support Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) activities by reviewing audit logs. Beyond technical execution, you will contribute to enterprise-wide improvements in log collection and alert quality, document investigations, and produce operational metrics to communicate security trends to leadership. Success in this role requires staying current on emerging threats and defensive practices relevant to hybrid enterprise environments.
