Front Range Equine Urgent Care (FREUC) is an emergency-only, ambulatory practice located in Berthoud, Colorado. We fill a critical need in Northern Colorado by providing high-quality field-based urgent care for horses between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days a week. Our mission is to support horse owners when their primary veterinarian is unavailable, prioritizing collaborative communication to ensure smooth transitions and effective follow-up care.
We are seeking a passionate and confident Equine Veterinarian to join our growing team. This role is designed for those who thrive in high-paced, hands-on environments and enjoy the challenge of acute cases and triage. You will work independently in the field, making critical care decisions while maintaining a supportive connection with our team, horse owners, and referring veterinarians.
This position is ideal for veterinarians seeking a focused, high-impact emergency role without the burden of routine wellness care. It is also a perfect opportunity for those returning to equine practice after burnout or a switch to small animal medicine, offering autonomy with the support of a modern, streamlined approach to emergency medicine.
