About the Role
The Ambassador serves as the vital link between our kitchen operations and patient care, ensuring an excellent dining experience for every individual. This role is designed to support our Food & Beverage Operations by assisting with meal service, delivering trays, and responding promptly to patient needs. You will collaborate closely with clinical and support teams to uphold strict dietary requirements while enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
In this position, you will facilitate patient meal ordering and communicate menu options in alignment with prescribed diets. Your day will involve verifying patient identity and diet orders before delivery to ensure safety and accuracy, as well as coordinating with nursing staff and dietitians regarding nutrition needs. Beyond meal delivery, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in food service areas, adhering to infection-prevention protocols and operating food service equipment safely. By providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, you will directly support the comfort and well-being of our community.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be able to meet hospital health, background, and immunization requirements. Basic HIPAA and patient privacy training will be provided on the job.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or food service. ServSafe Food Handler or equivalent food safety certification.
