About the Role
The Alumni Center Events Worker serves as the backbone of our event operations, ensuring that every gathering at the center runs smoothly from setup to teardown. This role is essential for maintaining the high standard of service expected by our alumni, clients, and vendors. You will be the face of the Alumni Center during events, often working during evenings and weekends to support a diverse calendar of activities.
In this position, you will manage the physical environment of the center, including the Click Hall and Service Halls. Your day-to-day involves transforming spaces for various functions, handling audio-visual equipment, and coordinating with caterers and custodial staff. Beyond the event floor, you will contribute to the operational health of the center through inventory management, facility maintenance, and special projects like the annual surplus collection and holiday decorations.
