About the Role
This position is contingent upon contract award. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Vision Reviewing Physician Consultant to serve as a trusted clinical expert within a high-impact federal hiring and medical suitability program. In this critical role, you will apply your advanced optometric training and deep knowledge of forensic law enforcement and/or military screening standards to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of vision-related medical determinations.
As a senior clinical consultant, you will conduct independent vision consultations, review complex medical documentation, and produce authoritative written assessments that help shape hiring eligibility for mission-driven federal roles. You will also provide mentorship and clinical guidance to peer clinicians, support quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, policies, and program outcomes.
