About the Role
This position serves as an A&P Technician responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft. You will work under minimal supervision to handle inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures. The role requires ensuring the continued airworthiness of company aircraft and performing all necessary authorized maintenance on aircraft, engines, accessories, and functions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with other departments to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements. You will perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications, properly complete work order sign-offs, and assist with shift turnovers. Depending on the specific client assignment, you may also work with teams to conduct preflight and post-flight inspections on B747 aircraft, refuel and reposition aircraft, and perform ground handling duties. In some instances, you may be asked to lead other aircraft technicians, assume supervisor duties, or assign duties to hangar cleaners.
