About the Role

Located in Troutdale, OR, this position offers a challenging and exciting career for experienced Air Traffic Controllers. As a member of the Air Traffic Control team, you will control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays. Your mission is to ensure the safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace.

In this role, you will answer radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft, issue landing and takeoff instructions, and provide critical data such as runway usage, wind velocity, and visibility. You will also perform critical weather observations as a Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) observer, transfer control of aircraft, and coordinate with airport vehicles and personnel. Additionally, you may be required to perform on-the-job training instructor duties. Hiring Process
