About the Company and Mission

IVA'AL Solutions, LLC supports the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP) by staffing qualified professionals at U.S. Air Force Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) across the country. As a Department of Defense-funded initiative, the AF FAP is dedicated to preventing and responding to intimate partner abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior involving children and youth. The organization strives to protect families through a multidisciplinary approach that combines clinical intervention with community education.

About the Role

The Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) serves as a vital member of the multidisciplinary FAP team. This role is designed to assess families referred for suspected maltreatment and provide comprehensive treatment to individuals, families, and groups where allegations meet specific criteria. Beyond intervention, the FAIS plays a proactive role in prevention by delivering voluntary, home-based services to families at risk of maltreatment. The position also involves directing secondary prevention services and providing behavioral health education on family violence to the broader community.

Hiring Process and Application

Candidates must be prepared to obtain and maintain a NACI security clearance and secure privileges at the Military Treatment Facility. The selection process prioritizes candidates with a Master's degree from a CSWE-accredited school and an independent Clinical Social Work license. Applicants should be ready to demonstrate their ability to work autonomously with clinical record systems and possess the necessary transportation and licensure to serve effectively within the military treatment environment.
