About the Role

OpusClip is building the future of AI video, and we need someone who can make it look like it. We are seeking a hands-on AI Video Editor who lives at the intersection of creative instinct and technical craft. This is not a role for someone who waits for perfect footage. This is a role for an editor who can take raw, broken, or AI-generated clips and turn them into something undeniably polished—fast.

In this position, you will transform AI-generated clips into high-quality demo, marketing, and ad videos. When footage is rough or broken, you don't wait; you rebuild it. You will bridge the gap by combining AI outputs with motion graphics, compositing, and traditional editing techniques to produce results that AI alone cannot yet deliver. You will prototype and iterate rapidly on demos for product and marketing, comfortable shipping, getting feedback, and iterating all in the same day.

Your hands-on experience will directly shape the workflow for AI-assisted video production at OpusClip. Furthermore, you will train the machine by producing manual video edits that serve as references for training OpusClip's agentic product, meaning your craft directly influences how our AI learns.

Hiring Process

This is a contract role with an opportunity to convert to full-time. The position requires an on-site presence in Mountain View, 4 days per week. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-moving environments and treat iteration as a feature, not a bug. If you need clean, camera-ready footage to do your best work or prefer a slow, defined creative process, this role may not be the right fit for you.
