This position serves as a vital support pillar for the operations team at Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS), ensuring seamless execution during the industry's most critical periods. The role exists to bridge the gap between technical agronomy and daily logistics, allowing lead agronomists to focus on high-value customer relationships and strategic planning.
You will operate within a fast-paced agricultural environment, managing a dynamic mix of responsibilities that range from warehouse logistics and equipment maintenance to direct technical support for the agronomy department. Your day-to-day involves a blend of administrative precision, such as managing blend sheets and inventory, and hands-on field work, including equipment operation and field scouting. This role is designed for someone who thrives under pressure and is committed to maintaining the high standards of service that define FCS.
This position is based in an active agricultural setting where conditions vary with the seasons. You will be regularly exposed to outdoor weather, vibrations, and moderate to loud noise levels. The role requires physical agility, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and crawling. Safety is paramount; personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be utilized at all times. Working hours are driven by customer and organizational demand, often requiring long, irregular schedules that include weekends and holidays during peak seasons.
Candidates with a Class A CDL (tanker and Haz Mat endorsement) or the ability to obtain it, along with a progressive work history, are encouraged to apply. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who demonstrate high integrity, technical aptitude, and the ability to remain calm and positive in stressful situations.
