About the Team

The Southwest Area CTE Academy (SWCTE) is an innovative, student-centered Career and Technical Education team located in Dickinson, North Dakota. We are a collaborative, multi-teacher program dedicated to providing students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences. Recently, we proudly opened newly renovated agricultural education spaces, offering state-of-the-art facilities to enhance instruction and learning opportunities.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic High School Agricultural Education Instructor to join our growing team. This full-time position involves a 200-day contract starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging instruction across a variety of agriculture-related subjects, including Small Animal Care, Animal Science, Horticulture, Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Business, Environmental and Natural Resources, Equine Science, and Intro to Agriculture. Teaching assignments will be tailored to the strengths and expertise of the selected applicant.

In addition to classroom instruction, this role offers the unique opportunity to serve as an Assistant FFA Advisor. This co-curricular involvement allows you to help shape the next generation of agricultural leaders through direct mentorship and student development.
