VNS Health is dedicated to advancing compassionate, innovative home care. Our mission is to provide high-quality, patient-centered services that support individuals and families in their homes and communities. We foster a supportive, inclusive culture focused on the well-being of both our patients and our staff, grounded in values of compassion, integrity, and collaboration.
The After-Hours RN Clinical Supervisor serves as the vital leadership link for home and community-based services during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role exists to ensure that patients receive safe, timely, and high-quality care even when standard business hours have ended. You will provide clinical oversight to field nurses, triage urgent patient needs, and coordinate staffing to meet fluctuating demand.
In this position, you will be the go-to resource for complex clinical decision-making, supporting field nurses as they navigate high-risk cases and care planning. Your day involves monitoring quality and safety compliance, documenting interventions accurately, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate transitions of care. Beyond clinical duties, you will identify trends in after-hours utilization and recommend process improvements, all while fostering a culture that aligns with VNS Health's core values.
Interested candidates are invited to apply with their resume and cover letter. The selection process typically includes an initial screening to verify licensure and experience, followed by a clinical interview to assess decision-making capabilities and leadership style. Final candidates may participate in a panel discussion with the leadership team to evaluate cultural fit and alignment with our mission.
VNS Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status. We strive to create an environment where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to our shared mission.
