A home renovation, addition, ADU, or rebuild is one of the largest, most emotional financial decisions most people will ever make. Today, that decision often happens in the dark: bids that can't be compared, costs no one commits to, and contractors chosen simply because they replied first. Homeowners frequently sign six-figure contracts on instinct rather than information.

Realm changes that. We help homeowners move from "we're thinking about it" to a signed construction contract with the right scope, the right contractor, and a budget they trust. Our Advisors serve as the connective tissue between homeowners, contractors, and Realm's technology platform.

We are an early-stage, venture-backed company at a genuine inflection point. We have already proven strong product-market fit through high-intent homeowner demand, organic referrals, and rapid growth across a massive, underserved category. The Advisors we hire now will help shape the playbook, operating model, and customer experience for what could become the market leader in home renovation.

About the Role

This is not a customer support role. This is a GMV-driven advisory seat where Gross Merchandise Value (the total contract value of renovations and rebuilds) is the primary metric. The role sits at the intersection of consultative sales, PropTech, real estate, construction, and marketplace operations.

You will own an active book of homeowner relationships end-to-end, guiding each one from the first conversation to a signed construction contract. Projects span the full range of what homeowners take on: kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, ADUs, full-home renovations, new home construction, and post-fire rebuilds. You will work with homeowners making decisions on projects ranging from $25K upgrades to $1M+ rebuilds.

Unlike traditional sales, there is no cold calling. Homeowners come to Realm with active projects and real budgets. Your job is to help them make a high-stakes decision well. This requires persistence, follow-through, and the ability to keep momentum across long, complex sales cycles. You will guide tangible, life-changing projects, navigating real complexity including rebuild families dealing with insurance, displacement, grief, and major construction decisions.

The Work & Culture

Success is measured on four things: homeowner experience, process discipline, terminal conversion, and GMV closed. You will work with homeowners making decisions on projects ranging from $25K upgrades to $1M+ rebuilds. You will use Realm's AI tooling, structured playbooks, and internal data to scope projects against budgets, clarify goals and priorities, and match the right contractors based on project type, geography, and fit.

You will orchestrate bid sourcing and lead bid review conversations that help homeowners understand pricing, scope differences, tradeoffs, and risk. You will operate the stack, maintaining clean records in the CRM and using AI tools fluently in your daily workflow.

This role demands a "follow the deal" mentality. Homeowners make these decisions on their schedule, not yours. Weeknight calls and Saturday morning bid reviews aren't a sacrifice—they are how the job works. You will be available when the deal needs you, whether that is 7 PM on a Tuesday or 10 AM on a Saturday.

We are looking for individuals who are commercially sharp, emotionally intelligent, and technically fluent. You should be genuinely interested in the creative side of the work—renovations and rebuilds are design decisions as much as financial ones. The best Advisors get energized by the conversation about what a home could look like and how a family wants to live, not just the commercial transaction.
