As a PRN Adult CT Technologist, you will independently perform routine and complex CT examinations, applying established protocols while exercising sound clinical judgment to adapt techniques based on patient condition and diagnostic requirements. This role is critical for delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient patient-centered care in both routine and emergent settings.
You will serve as a competent, independent technologist capable of adjusting protocols based on clinical indications. Your day-to-day involves preparing patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with physician-ordered exams, and safely administering contrast per protocol. You will also recognize basic imaging artifacts, implement corrective measures, and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support desired clinical outcomes.
Important Note: PRN positions require a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
