Admissions Coordinators serve as the vital first point of contact for prospective students at Southeastern College. This role is pivotal in shaping a student's journey, as the rapport built during these initial interactions often determines their decision to enroll. Beyond recruitment, Coordinators play a critical part in ensuring a smooth transition and successful integration of new students into their chosen programs.
The core mission involves acquiring and enrolling qualified candidates by attracting, engaging, and vetting prospects to maintain a robust enrollment pipeline. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the value of higher education and the career opportunities a degree can unlock.
This is an onsite position located at your specific campus. The role is performed in a professional office setting with moderate noise levels and a controlled indoor climate. A significant portion of the day (30% to 80%) is dedicated to phone communication with prospects, alongside data entry and administrative tasks. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree to effectively understand and communicate the value of higher education to prospective students. The role requires the ability to develop weekly business plans, manage prospect pipelines, and collaborate with Financial Aid and Academic departments to ensure students are ready for orientation and class start.
