Our mission is to support court systems that put people first and ensure access to the court. The Trial Court Administrator, Sandra Barrios, oversees all administrative responsibilities of the Fourth Judicial District, including facilities management, serving as a liaison between agencies, the media, and the public, and developing policies that enhance court system performance.
This position serves as a vital link between the court, the public, and internal staff. You will work closely with the public and court staff to perform a variety of administrative tasks, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The role requires the exercise of good judgment in applying prescribed procedures to routine matters while remaining innovative and alert to new ways to accomplish office work.
In this capacity, you will greet program participants and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner, screen incoming telephone calls, and manage the flow of mail and sensitive legal documents. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, composing correspondence, and entering data into computer systems. Success in this role depends on your ability to communicate effectively with a culturally diverse population and handle confidential information with the utmost responsibility.
