ECLARO is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support a client in Albany, NY dedicated to enhancing public services and promoting sustainable resource management. As an Emergency Management Administrative Specialist, you will serve as a vital support pillar for various unit projects. Your primary focus will be the development, maintenance, and revision of emergency management, hazard mitigation, emergency operations, and resiliency plans. This position is designed for someone eager to learn; while prior emergency management experience is not required, a strong interest in the field is essential.
In this role, you will coordinate planning processes and meetings from initial development through implementation. You will help create emergency management procedures, checklists, job aids, and operational plans covering preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities. Success in this position relies on your ability to collaborate with internal and external partners, manage projects without daily oversight, and utilize strong writing and organizational skills to meet critical deadlines.
