About the Role
Creekside Canine Training is seeking a part-time Administration and Dog Handling Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is designed for individuals who are comfortable around dogs and eager to interact with them in a professional setting.
While this is not a dog training position, it serves as an excellent foot-in-the-door opportunity for those interested in the canine industry. You will be an integral part of our team, assisting with the logistics of our Canine University and Puppy Kindergarten programs.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a mix of administrative support and active dog handling. You will assist with drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring a smooth experience for our clients and their pets. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to standard dog handling, including managing bathroom breaks and facilitating social play.
In addition to working with the dogs, you will provide transportation as needed for lessons, errands, and other business-related needs. You will also contribute to the office environment by performing basic administrative tasks and helping with cleaning and building upkeep.
