Located in the charming city of Salem, Oregon, The Recovery Village Salem Drug and Alcohol Rehab is an accredited adult rehab facility. As an Addiction Physician, you will join a team of compassionate and dedicated professionals committed to providing exceptional clinical care to individuals facing substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
While this role includes administrative oversight of the facility's medical services, the majority of your time will be dedicated to clinical practice. You will lead the medical staff, dietitians, and physician services coordinator, building a collaborative team with nursing and clinical departments. Your day will involve providing excellent medical care aligned with our philosophy, managing detoxification protocols, assessing medication needs, and overseeing Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT). You will work closely with attending physicians weekly to evaluate patient care and ensure treatment plans reflect an individualized approach to pain management and substance use disorders.
Beyond direct patient care, you will partner with the Chief Medical Officer, Executive Director, and governing authority to develop policies, budgets, and quality assurance programs. You will also play a key role in recruiting and onboarding new employees, evaluating staff competency, and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and state regulations.
We invite compassionate nursing and medical leaders to take the first step toward making a difference and saving lives. If you are self-motivated, confident, and ready to lead in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply.
