The Recovery Village Salem Drug and Alcohol Rehab is an accredited adult rehab facility located in Salem, Oregon. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and maintain medical policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs in compliance with standards
- check_circleCollaborate with attending physicians weekly to evaluate patient care and treatment outcomes
- check_circleReview and audit all patient charts prior to submitting for insurance audits
- check_circleEvaluate medical staff competency annually based on specified performance standards
- check_circlePlan and budget for medical services in conjunction with the CMO and Executive Director
- check_circleComplete and authenticate electronic health records including psychiatric evaluations and medical progress notes
- check_circleProvide clinical care including detoxification, withdrawal management, and Medication Assisted Therapy
- check_circleManage on-call responsibilities and provide backup coverage for medical emergencies within one hour of the facility
- check_circleOversee medical staff, dietitians, and physician services coordinators to ensure collaborative team performance
- check_circleScreen patients for substance use disorders, pain, and withdrawal symptoms to develop individualized treatment plans
- check_circleRecruit, interview, and onboard new medical staff while maintaining effective daily staffing patterns
Requirements
- verifiedGraduated from an accredited medical school
- verifiedMinimum 3 years in a supervisory position
- verifiedLicensed to practice medicine (MD or DO) in the appropriate state
- verifiedBoard Certification in Primary Specialty required
- verifiedABPM Addiction Medicine or AOA Board Certification in Addiction Medicine required if not a psychiatrist
- verifiedDEA license to prescribe controlled medications
- verifiedTraining on Buprenorphine Prescribing
- verifiedExperience in addiction medicine
- verifiedFamiliarity with JCAHO standards
- verifiedFamiliarity with ASAM criteria
