Axient is seeking an Acquisition Operational Energy Analyst to support the SAF/IEN team with Senior Project Management and Policy Support Subject Matter Experts. This role is designed to ensure the seamless execution of operational acquisition energy programs within the Department of Defense framework.
In this position, you will serve as a critical link between governance, policy, and execution. You will coordinate, consolidate, and maintain the Operational Acquisitions Energy Program's governance documents, including Air Force Instructions (AFIs) and policies. Your work will directly influence action plan recommendations, task responses, and issue resolution strategies, ensuring alignment with government approval standards.
The role involves active engagement with leadership and stakeholders. You will participate in approximately 23 meetings and forums, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality materials such as presentation slides, after-action reports, and meeting minutes. Additionally, you will review complex systems including the Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS), key performance parameters, and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, including OSD CAPE SNaP plans.
This is a hybrid role, preferably located within 50 miles of the Pentagon. Fully remote resources may be considered if onsite seating is unavailable; however, if onsite seating is not available for a given day, the Subject Matter Expert must call the IEN by 0900 to provide status updates and receive additional tasks.
Travel is a component of this position, potentially requiring up to 25% annual travel. This may involve rough terrain and remote locations, including access to elevated facilities. Candidates must be prepared to carry supplies and equipment necessary for infrastructure and system assessments.
