Apogee is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support the Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS) Integrated Sensor Systems. PEO-TIS serves as the technical expert for Special Operations Forces, delivering advanced, mission-ready capabilities in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), tactical communications, and specialized collection systems.
The organization drives the testing, training, and operational assessment of resilient sensors, biometrics, forensic exploitation tools, and secure communications. These capabilities are rapidly transitioned into deployable assets that enhance situational awareness, targeting, and over-the-horizon connectivity for SOF operations in contested environments.
This full-time position is based on-site at MacDill AFB, FL. As an Acquisition Analyst, you will act as a critical bridge between program requirements and execution, ensuring the seamless integration of proven technologies into operational capabilities. You will work closely with Senior Managers and government counterparts to define goals, manage program risks, and optimize resource allocation.
Your day-to-day impact involves collecting and analyzing metrics to shape acquisition strategies, conducting market research, and performing cost/benefit analyses to support decision-making. You will prepare high-level reports and briefings on program status, interpret complex regulations to determine their impact on operations, and identify solutions to eliminate production bottlenecks. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring program compliance and formulating mitigations to maintain schedule, cost, and performance targets.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility. The role requires a DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency (Level II) in Program Management or the ability to attain it within six months of hire. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, program management, or a relevant discipline, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in DoD Acquisition Program Management.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply directly through the Apogee careers portal. Please ensure your application highlights your specific experience with the Defense Acquisition System and relevant technical domains such as ISR, Sensors, or Military Communications.
