Incorporated in 1964, Daiwa Capital Markets America Inc. (DCMA) is a New York-based registered securities broker-dealer and a primary dealer of U.S. Treasury securities. As a member of the New York Stock Exchange and other major U.S. exchanges, our core focus is the sales and trading of Japanese, Asian, and U.S. equities, fixed income instruments, financial futures, and investment banking for institutional customers. Our ultimate parent company is Daiwa Securities Group Inc., one of the largest brokerage and financial services groups in Japan.
The Asset Services Specialist serves as an integral part of the Corporate Actions and Operations Tax Reporting team. In this role, you will ensure the complete and accurate processing of events for the firm's affiliates that clear and custody their US trading activities with DCMA. Beyond execution, you will act as a liaison with internal and external departments to drive business process improvements that enhance the client experience. Reporting to the AVP, Corporate Actions Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the broader Operations department to maintain operational excellence.
DCMA fosters a vibrant culture built on a diverse team of professionals who understand, respect, and inspire one another. We believe that how we work—individually, with each other, and with our communities—is just as important as what we do. Our goal is to build an environment where every employee takes pride in their work and feels valued as a key asset to the organization.
DCMA operates a hybrid work program designed to balance operational efficiency with employee flexibility. While the nature of the role may allow for remote work opportunities, employees are generally expected to work in the New York office at least three days per week. Specific on-site requirements may apply during the initial training period.
DCMA provides equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees. We are committed to maintaining a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We prohibit discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability, military or veteran status, or other attributes protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
