About the Role
The Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant serves as a critical pillar within the Finance and Accounting department, reporting directly to the Controller. This position is designed to oversee the full-cycle accounts receivable function, ensuring the integrity of revenue recording, regulatory compliance, and timely collections. The role is particularly vital for maintaining multi-state sales tax compliance, general ledger accuracy, and facilitating cross-border financial communication.
Ideal candidates will bring a blend of strong technical accounting knowledge, specific experience with multi-state tax regulations, and bilingual Spanish proficiency to support our international operations and corporate reporting requirements. You will play a key part in resolving complex billing discrepancies, managing collections to optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, sales, tax advisors, and international finance teams to drive financial health.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- verified5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
- verifiedExperience handling multi-state sales tax filings
- verifiedExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
- verifiedStrong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- verifiedBilingual fluency in Spanish (written and verbal)
- verifiedAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred)
