Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for accurate financial reporting
- check_circlePerform and oversee flux analysis to investigate variances and business drivers
- check_circleLead, mentor, and develop senior and staff accountants
- check_circleEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements
- check_circleServe as primary contact for internal and external auditors
- check_circleDrive process improvements, standardization, and automation
- check_circlePartner with FP&A, Tax, and other finance teams on system enhancements
- check_circleManage general ledger integrity and approve balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 6 years in related/similar industry
- verifiedAt least 2 years in a manager role
- verifiedSolid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- verifiedExperience managing or supporting monthly close processes
- verifiedExperience reviewing account reconciliations
- verifiedExperience performing or reviewing flux/variance analysis
- verifiedCPA or CPA-eligible/MBA preferred
Nice to Have
Experience working with ERP systems. Experience operating in a SOX or internal controls environment. CPA or CPA-eligible/MBA.
