About the Role
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join a growing, education-focused organization in Auburn, Washington. This long-term contract opportunity is designed for a professional with strong invoice processing experience, sharp accuracy, and a solid foundation in day-to-day accounting support.
The position is fully onsite and plays a key role in helping the finance team manage increasing transaction volume tied to childcare support programs. You will contribute to timely payments, organized records, and dependable administrative support in a high-accountability environment. Your work will ensure that billable amounts are calculated correctly across varied rate structures and that timesheets and supporting documentation are verified for payment processing.
Beyond core accounting duties, you will provide front desk and administrative assistance, responding to routine inquiries and supporting daily office operations. You will also help convert paper-based records into electronic documentation and collaborate with the finance lead and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handling of invoices and payment-related questions.
