Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
- check_circlePrepare and post journal entries under supervision of senior accounting staff
- check_circleReconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts regularly
- check_circleAssist with month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting
- check_circleMaintain organized digital and physical financial records and documentation
- check_circleSupport internal and external audits by gathering and validating documentation
- check_circleRespond to vendor, client, and internal finance inquiries professionally
- check_circleAssist with expense reporting and employee reimbursements
- check_circleCollaborate with Finance, Accounting & Administration colleagues on process improvements
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- verifiedCertified Bookkeeper (AIPB or NACPB) preferred
- verifiedProficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- verifiedExcel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
- verifiedExperience with healthcare or medical billing systems
Nice to Have
Certified Bookkeeper (AIPB or NACPB) certification. Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience with healthcare or medical billing systems. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
