We are looking for an entry-level Accounting Assistant based out of our Rockaway, NJ location. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter to learn numerous accounting processes, with room for growth and potential for advancement. In this role, you will support our finance team by managing critical payroll and accounts payable functions. Your day-to-day will involve entering shop time hours weekly, assisting with the review and submission of salary and union field payroll, and processing layoff checks as needed. You will also play a key part in ensuring accuracy by reviewing checks, assisting with certified payroll reporting, and supporting monthly OCIP/CCIP reporting.
